Thomas Manton (1620-1677) was one of those Puritans whose
number made up the Westminster Assembly. He was a famous minister of the
Gospel (and
a Presbyterian by persuasion) whose powerful and soul-satisfying ministry
continues to this day through the writings he left to posterity.
